Sub: Opening of
bulk accounts-Reg
It has
been came to the notice of this union, that pressure is being exerted to open
bulk Savings Bank accounts like RD, TD etc., in the single name splitting
one higher denomination as multiple
lower denomination accounts. Accordingly our officials are much hardly opening
bulk accounts. The instructions were categarically issued by the Directorate
vide letter No.116-26/2015-SB dated
19.06.2015 that splitting of the higher denomination is irregular and should
not be put in practice. Further the SPMs could not open the huge number of
accounts in Finacle. Kindly instruct the Lower level officers not to give
speaking orders to split the accounts, and
to follow the instructions contained in the Directorate letter dated
19.06.2015 and also kindly intimate the procedure to be followed to turn out
opening of hundred`s of accounts by single official in the stipulated time
daily.
