Meeting with Union Representatives by the Department - Talks failed

CONTINUE THE STRIKE CAMPAIGN

Dear Comrades,

Today (18-05-2018) Department of Posts called GDS Unions for a discussion on strike demands. Meeting held in the presence of Additional Director General, Shri Tilak De with Secretary General NFPE, General Secretaries of AIPEU PM&MTS, AIPEU GDS, AIGDSU & NUGDS.

Department made an appeal to call off the strike. Further Department is not ready to give any concrete assurance on the date of implementation of GDS Committee. 

All Unions decided to proceed with intensive strike campaign for indefinite strike from 22nd May 2018. NFPE & FNPO already decided to extend all support and solidarity for GDS strike.

All CHQ office bearers / Circle Secretaries / Divisional & Branch Secretaries, active comrades are requested to intensify the strike campaign to make the indefinite strike a grand success.
