Items of AIPEU Postmen and MTS
OLD ITEMS
- Non supply of Uniforms to
Postman, Staff.
The
PSD, Guntakal was reminded to supply uniforms, in turn the PSD, Guntakal
reminded the PSD, Hyderabad for supply of uniforms. On receipt from PSD
uniforms will be supplied immediately. (Item
Closed)
- Supply of
chairs to postman staff at Madanapalle HO and Chittoor HO. No chairs were
supplied to postman staff, Chairs were supplied to PA staff only.
The requirement will be assessed
for projecting funds to RO
NEW ITEMS
- Nonpayment
of allowances to Cash overseer/Postman who are attending duty of cash
remittances to sub offices.
Cash
allowance at the rate of Rs: 60/- is being paid to the cash overseers.
Instructions will be issued to both the Postmasters
Items of AIGDS Union
OLD ITEMS
- Necessary
orders for maintenance and safety measures for remittance and keeping of
heavy cash at SO`s and BO`s exceeding authorized limits.
The issue will be
taken up with R.O for permission to avail the services of private security.
- For cash
remittance during the NREGS/SS payments private agency may be engaged as
in Banks
Proposal for
providing security guards for conveyance of cash was submitted to RO vide this
office letter dated 8-9-14. RO orders are not yet received. RO may be reminded.
- Creation
of GDS posts at Kanipakam SO (GDS MP II), Doddipalle BO (GDS MD) etc.
The statistics of Kanipakam SO and Murukambattu SO were sent
to the ASPOs, Chittoor North Sub Division for verification. On receipt of the
same the case will be examined.
- Revision
of allowances to BPMs who completed targets
Revision of
allowances is being made by taking SSP payments also. Revision of allowance in
r/o 3 SOs was already completed.
- Revision
of allowances of GDS MDs at Chittoor HO
Delivery
statistics were sent to the ASPOs, Chittoor North Sub Division for verification
and they are awaited. HO was reminded
- All the
GDS BPM are threatening to open 500 SB/RD accounts daily and also opening
of Rs: 10/- denomination RD A/cs with single SB-3 card and Pay in slip.
Harassing over
phone to complete daily targets of opening of RD a/cs.
No harassment is
reported (Item Closed)
New Items:
- Non
supply of circulars to service unions. Many times we are giving items in
monthly meetings but not supplying.
Important
circulars will be circulated to all service unions in the division.

- Nonpayment
of incentive to OT BPMs who attending payment of social security payments
The incentive for
CSPs is under process.
Items of AIPEU CI III
OLD Items:
- Grant
of permission to engage Out Sourcing in place of vacant and shortage of
officials at Post offices.
Deployment of
surplus GDS posts on temporary basis will be taken up with R.O
- Supply of
inverters to all B Class offices.
The
RO was again requested for supply of inverters to B-Class offices during the
year 2014-15, as sufficient funds were not allotted during the year 2013-14
& 2014-15
- Upgradation
of RAM in old computers at Chittoor HO.
The difficulty
with processing old server is brought to the notice by the unions. Necessary
action will be taken to upgrade the RAMs
- For
cash remittance during the NREGS /SS payments private agency may be
engaged as in Banks.

- Supply of
Dot matrix printers to Chittoor HO.
Estimates
submitted to R.O. Permission yet to be received.

new systems to NPO, Mails section and Accounts branch at Chittoor HO.
They will be
supplied on procurement of new systems
- AMC to
Computers/ UPS/ Generators
Instructions from
R.O yet to be received.
- Nonpayment
of PLI incentive (Smt.T.Mohana, Sri.P.Balaji etc., submitted bills but not
yet sanctioned) Bills of officials who are influenced are being paid.
Individual cases
will be taken up with CO, Hyderabad.
9.
Chittoor HO, Madanapalle HO, Palamaner are running with
acute shortage of staff due to permanent deputation to either other offices/
higher posts. Hence the staff is bitterly suffering due to heavy work.
Therefore the staff may be reback to original posts/ alternate arrangements may
be made. As different types of targets are assigning during February and March
months but staff are not provided. Hence officials at different offices may be
reback immediately till permanent arrangements made during RT as assured in the
last monthly meeting.
RO
will be requested to terminate the temporary deputation at other divisions of
the region.
10. Sanction of
PRI (P) post at Chittoor HO and APM a/cs posts at Madanapalle HO.
Statistics will be
obtained and submitted to R.O
11. Sanction of
cash handling allowance to all SPMs.
All
SPMs were instructed to furnish statistics of cash and stamps disbursed during
the year 2014 and they are awaited. Orders will be issued during last week of
March 2015
12. All
the SPM are threatening to open 500 SB/RD accounts daily and also opening of
Rs.10/- denomination RD a/cs with single SB-3 and Pay in slip. Harassing over
phone to complete daily targets of opening of RD a/cs.
No
harassment is reported.
New Items:
- List of
eligible short duty PAs in the division may please be supplied to all
offices to utilize during short of hands
Eligible
pensioners attending the office may be contacted and their services may be
utilized if willing.
- Printer
at Chittoor North SO is not working properly since 6 months. Printer may
please be supplied
Estimates for repairs
called for from Chittoor North S.O
- GDS
working in Urban area Post offices were identified and ordered to pay the
social security payments outside of the post offices. But no alternate
arrangements made in the place of GDS. SPMs are suffering very much.

The
issue will be taken up with R.O. Orders from R.O are awaited
- Non
supply of circulars to Service Unions. Many times we are giving items in
monthly meetings but not supplying
Important
circulars will be circulated to all service unions in the division

- Shifting
of Chittoor Market Post Office from HO to New building as customers facing
problem to come to HO from market area. Large number of accounts may be
closed if not shifted.
FRAC constituted.
AE(C), Kurnool, AOIFA, O/o PMG. Kurnool yet to visit the proposed PO building
and to finalise the case.
- LSA
of Chittoor HO is on leave for more than 8 months. No LSA is allotted to
HO. System Admin of Chittoor HO is forced to attend all SOs. Recently
Chittoor HO is rolled out to CBS. SAs services are essential at HO. Hence
Sub offices other than TSOs may be allotted to LSAs available at DO so
that SA will attend problems of HO and TSOs.
LSAs
in Chittoor DO are also attending the updations and problems of SOs promptly.
Some more officials will be sent for system administrator training.
- Augmentation
of Post Assistant posts at Hos and SOs in lieu of abnormal increase of SB
work and introducing new schemes like Mee Seva/TTD/Swiping Machines (Mini
ATMs) sale of mobiles etc.
The
workload of HOs/SOs will be assessed during periodical review and proposals for
augmentation will be submitted to R.O in justified cases. Also time factors are
not communicated to the above item of works; the issue may be taken up at
appropriate level.
