Sub:-Conducting Training on Sundays-reg.
Ref:-D.G (P), Lr.No. 16/56/2011-SR dated
08.07.2011.
It is brought to the notice of this union
that a training is going to be conducted on 13.03.2016 ( Sunday) at Chittoor HO
and on 20.03.2016(Sunday) at Madanapalle HO.In this connection it is brought to
your kind notice that in Chittoor division meeting/workshop/melas/training were
conducting as routine manner on Sundays/ Holidays 05.04.2015, 12.04.2015,
28.06.2015, 09.08.2015, and on
03.01.2016 and ordered to attend
on Sundays for various reasons.
In week days all the postal
employees were engaged with official duties for more than 10 -12 hours and they
won`t have time for their social obligations. The Sundays and Holidays will be
utilised not only, to full fill social
obligations but also for medicl treatment purpose especially blood tests in
case of diabetic patents. The issue of organising meetings/ Melas on Sundays
and Holidays, thus depriving the employees of their legitimate right to avail
the break was already brought to the notice of DG (Posts), New Delhi, by the
Unions and orders were also issued vide
DG Post Letter no.16/56/2011-SR dated 08.07.2011 not to
conduct meetings,Melas, etc., on Sundays and Holidays.
Hence it is requested, not to
conduct training on 13.03.2016/20.03.2016 ( Sunday). If it is inevitable to
conduct training on 13.03.2016 and 20.03.2016 (Sundays) kindly cause to issue
necessary orders for C-OFF to those who are attending the training on Sundays,
expecting favourable orders.
