Sub: Non supply of cash to SOs/BOs – reg

           It has been came to the notice of this union, that   required cash not been supplied to SOs/BOs of Chittoor Division. There was huge demand for SB withdrawals and NREGS payments. Public are quarrelling and assaulting with the staff. Especially in rural area offices customers who deposited already in our Post offices are   gathering and  attacks are happened for want of withdrawals. There is no security   to the life of the Postal staff. It has been ascertained that   Postmasters, Chittoor HO and Madnapalle HO are indenting for cash to their respective SBI banks. But required cash has not been supplied since 3 weeks by banks. As a result huge resentment with the public and they are hesitate to subsequent deposits to the Post Offices. The customers are decreasing day by day. The Postmasters are regularly taking this matter to the Divisional Office but nothing fruitful has been done so far. The matter has been taken to the notice of SSPOs, Chittor over phone also by the union. Hence it is   requested to kindly coordinate with the appropriate authorities and arrange for supply of sufficient cash from Banks.  If no action is taken and arrange for supply of cash to SOs/ BOs within 3 days we are constrained to take trade union action. The staff   are in agitating mood.
